Fuel Prices set to hit £1.50 per litre
February 26, 2008
It’s been predicted in the press recently that fuel is set to hit the £1.50 per litre mark later this year, and with an iminent hike in tax from the Government in April, Fuel Fool asks your opinion on how all of this is going to affect you.
Will the rises in fuel prices affect your travel to work? Will they affect your business? Do you think the government actually cares?
Ultimately everyone will suffer due to these hikes in fuel as businesses who transport items for our benefit (food, DIY etc) will have to pass on these costs resulting in higher priced good on the way for us all.
Lest not forget Taxi Drivers.. In another post on this blog it talks about the hardship one taxi driver is facing after years of running his own business. he is one of the unfortunate ones who are now considering wrapping the business up due to the fuel hikes, but for others, it is going to mean increased taxi fares on our journeys.
All in all, share your opinion on this planned fuel rise with us all, we are really interested in what you think.
